Country North Homelessness Alliance

At Country North Homelessness Alliance, we provide services for adults, families with accompanying children and youth aged between 15 and 25 years who are at risk of and/or experiencing homelessness.

Our staff are respectful, inclusive and welcome all people regardless of age, gender, background or personal circumstances. We are here to listen, advocate and empower people along their journey out of homelessness.

What is CHNA?

Country North Homelessness Alliance is a collaborative partnership between five community organisations. Each organisation has unique, knowledge, skill and resources which adds value to the alliance.
All Alliance members have long-standing connections to regional South Australian communities and are established place-based providers of specialist homelessness services.
We believe that all people should have a safe place to call home, and we are committed to preventing and ending homelessness for country people.

Children

Country North Homelessness Alliance recognises children as the most vulnerable members of our communities.
To ensure the best outcomes for children and families we deliver tailored case-management support that is aimed at reducing the impact of trauma and social disadvantage associated with homelessness.

Aboriginal People

People identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and are homeless or at risk of homelessness, will be provided with a targeted, culturally safe and appropriate response.

Youth

CNHA will provide a targeted response for young people aged between 15 and 25 years of age, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Priority will be given to those who have the most complex needs and are at most risk of being unsupported and unsheltered.
